An important domain where INTENS Corporation is active is providing consultation and counselling services related to the area of road transport. The emphasis is put on intelligent transport systems. The spectrum of services covers the whole life cycle of the ITS systems/applications, from the preparation of the project design up to its realisation. Subject:

Creation of the transport sector strategy for the period 2014 – 2020. The final output serves as an initial material for obtaining EU funding in the transport/transport-infrastructure sector in Slovakia for the above mentioned period. The partial activities of INTENS Corporation were related particularly to the management of the working group concerning road transport, preparation of a complex analysis of the road subsector (including ITS) and coordination of preparation of the transport strategy for Slovakia in all transport areas, including public transport.

Analysis of the current state of transport telematic systems implementation related to freight transport in Prague

Subject:

Aim of the project was to describe the current state of implementation of systems related to the monitoring of cargo transport in Prague and to design their further development. A detailed transportation engineering analysis related to the cargo transport in Prague was conceived. Based on this analysis, new transport telematic arrangements were designed. In relation with the management hierarchy and monitoring of the road traffic in Prague, the study also created a design of systematic utilisation of the related data set on the level of the Traffic Control Centre of the City of Prague and a design and description of expansion of functions of the current modules for the needs of monitoring and management of the cargo transportation.

Complex analysis of the current state of the implementation and real functioning of ITS in the Czech Republic with a prospect of further development

Subject:

Aim of this public contract was to prepare a detailed analysis of the state of the implementation and real functioning of the intelligent transport systems, i.e. applications and systems of transport telematics in the Czech Republic and its further development. Subsequently, the analysis will be used as a basis for the future design of transport telematics in the Czech Republic. Also, it could be used as an initial document for planning investments in the area of ITS and thus combine planning of transport infrastructure development with ITS.
